Walking Sticks Arrive From Amazon
It’s always a bit exciting when a package arrives, don’t you think? And for once I was home when the package arrived. (Invariably packages arrive on the day I’m not home and then I must travel to the centre for pick up) This time, I got to choose the convenient day online – a major improvement by FedEx! The walking sticks have arrived from Amazon!
The box is roughly 30 inches long – Oh No! that will never fit into my knapsack! Inside is a long zip-up carrying case with a loop on the end so that it can be hung on a hook. That makes sense since that will be one of the first questions: Where will I store this thing?
There are twelve items inside the bag. What on earth are all these things for?
- Instruction sheet – it says “for additional questions visit our website“
- Two collapsed sticks
- Two Sand/mud baskets
- Two Snow baskets
- Two Boot Tips
- Two Rubber Tips
- Connector for holding the poles together when carrying them.
I quickly review the instruction sheet and discover the height I need (arms at 90° angle) and place one set of tips.
